If you're in meetings or gatherings where people use an opening question to get the conversational ball rolling you may appreciate this list collected by Rob Walker, author of The Art of Noticing. https://docs.google.com/document/d/1j4rj883slFvh1zZLGedqQFM0wqCrHlIEPE62K0LkKak/edit
(2) I wanna notice the changing of the seasons as detailed as possible. My favourite trees changing colours, dropping their leaves, bedded in snow until once again - rich with life. I wanna notice the little wonders surrounding me. Remembering once again that paper is made from wood and glass is made from sand. Recuding the things to what they are in their very core. Because that’s all they’ll ever need to be.
(1) This year I want to focus on the art of noticing again. Letting the magic of all those glimmers back in again. The little sparkles of dew covering the grass early in the morning. Spiderwebs connecting two trees with their nearly invisible strings. I want to focus on rays of sunlight tickling my nose. On far away birds chirping our song from the tree tops. Drawing little circles in the sand while dipping my toes into cold river water.
