Did some more work on the large foliage, including multiple passes over the full tree before I gave up and resorted to the airbrush to get it bright and smooth enough. It reads a LOT better now, I think.

Slowly deciding on full color scheme for the piece, the foliage is all going to be purples, shooting out to red and blue, while the frog will be a Grünfrosch if I can manage to do the scheme right, and the mech is going to be largely yellows and browns, and I can use this stuff to practice using the new stamping stuff.

Went back in and brightened up a bunch of areas, especially in the area of the muzzle flash. Also went in with white paint instead of ink, and did a full white on the muzzle flash itself and the areas exposed to it on the mech, I want it nice and stark.

This is the set I bought for my writer wife Christina York's (Aka, Christy Fifield, Christy Evans) writing office. Her office is pink with white trim, so this is perfect.

Liking how this looks now that the clay's dry and I've got it all lightmapped up. The canopy, mech, samurai, and frog are all going to be painted separately and then fixed in place as I put the mud paste on for the swampy ground, but before the water effects go in for the swampy puddles.
