#PaulReubens, best known for his #PeeWeeHerman character, has died at 70 after a six-year battle with cancer. Reubens brought Pee-Wee to television first in a 1981 #HBO special, "The Pee-Wee Herman Show" (which was revived on Broadway in 2011), and parlayed that into the cult classic Saturday morning series #PeeWeesPlayhouse (1986) and its Christmas special, and the classic film #PeeWeesBigAdventure (1985), followed by #BigTopPeeWee (1988). 1/4
