Plans for “Pee-Wee’s Big Holiday” began in the mid00s as a kind of “Valley of the Dolls”-type script that over time turned into a “H.R. Pufnstuf” send up and then finally what the film actually is. Due to the use of de-aging technology and the positive reviews for the film, Paul Ruebens had plans to make more films but due to his health and changes in the film industry they never solidified

I am currently storyboarding two feature films so I can't watch as much film as I usually do. Mostly I just listen to them with commentary tracks while I draw.

But here's this week's #LetterboxdFriday and #lastfourwatched!

I never watched much of #PeeWeesPlayhouse. But I did watch #PeeWeesBigHoliday, which was so weird and wonderful and fun.

#PaulReubens also made some subtle but great contributions to #animation. My favorite was his role in #TronUprising. He played the sniveling and conniving Pavel, and played it so well. He was such a good performer.
