Those of my folks in Nashville, I'm watching Ryan Hall on YT to keep up with tonight's severe weather. He and his team are incredibly dedicated weather watchers and storm chasers.
So it wasn't just my imagination... No need to ever bring him back, #SNL. Performance was mediocre. Surely, "I'm The Problem" works well for him. Of all the available great talent, why was he on anyway?

We had a nice lunch reception catered by the Guitar Center Custom House, and then got to play with the wax cylinder recording apparatus in the afternoon.
And that concludes the classroom portion of the program. I'm helping track in the studio on Monday and Wednesday and then graduating on Friday.
So I guess I am officially hunting an internship now. I had better get on that. Tips, leads, and contacts appreciated.
This morning, #JacquireKing gave us three straight hours of conversation and stories and advice and answers to our questions. Super nice, gracious, and thoughtful guy. A real class act.
Recording a session guitar player to wax cylinder
as one does
It was freezing (0C/32F) during today's 14.6km/9.0mi walk. A not very exciting 9'11" per km and once again a not very stimulating barely moderate 105 BPM (70%).
It seemed a lot colder what with a haircut and no more brain insulation. Ah well, it might grow back.

Today's walk in 4C/39F temps entailed hoofing it for 14.4km/8.9mi. Averaging 9'08" per km it didn't manage to get the old heartbeat above a moderately light 104 BPM (69%).
It was a good walk.
