I've developed what I call the Remington Steele theory of Trump and the Republican Party. If you remember, in that show Laura Holt invented the persona Remington Steele to suit her ends (clients wouldn't trust a female-ownded detective agency) until a con man showed up and surprised her by assuming this identity.

The Republican Party has been selling its base on a fabricated vision of the world, and Trump popped up and claimed the mantle of it.

HOW did I miss the wedding episode of #RemingtonSteele? It's funny as hell.

While folks pooedRS for the 'will they/won't they' trope I think they missed some things.

Looking at it with my SoPo relationship anarchy eyes, their relationship looks sort of modern, ENM, and sort of quirky. They are friends, they spend time together, they have zero blinders about each other.

I mean, he's a con man and she's a control freak but it works! Those wacky kids.

The 3rd best part of #RemingtonSteele is watching his suits get more fabulous. The pleats!! The fabrics!!

The 2nd best is watching Stephanie Zimbalist run like a track star in heels.

The best is realizing how well written and funny it often was. The snappy patter!

Though it's clear the 1st season was really the best. Though the 4th wasn't bad. Ugh, the 2nd and 3rd.
