Oh my god. So much this! 
As powerful as the command-line tools and terminals are, they should not be mandatory and forced on new users in a distro that's oftentimes said to be "beginner-friendly". Opening up the Terminal on your first software update is NOT "beginner-friendly" for people who struggle to use email and whatnot. Unacceptable.

Does anyone know what time #Ubuntu 24.04 gets released? Their website is still showing 22.04.
Thinking of issuing myself a #challenge to live in @gnome for a while (at least until @system76 is ready to publicly release Cosmic), as it's #Ubuntu release day tomorrow. 
I've not used #GNOME for a while now, as I generally prefer @kde, so it'll be interesting to see how things have changed with it and if I can use it on a regular basis!

The Gnome 45 release shipped with Ubuntu 23.10 can't handle tablet input. So, if you use creative tools like Inkscape, Krita, GIMP, or Blender Grease pencil with a tablet for pen input, you'll want to hold off on that upgrade.

Well, finally taking the high nerd step and seeing other Linux Distros. Ive had a long relationship with Ubuntu but I think it would be best for the both of us to see what else is out there. Manjarp looking pretty cute anyways.
