Just ran through my gallery folders and I've currently visited 83 Irish castles and tower houses this trip. This doesn't count things like Martello towers and forts, which I've visited a lot as well, or fortified manors and churches.
There is a dam just upstream of the castle and from near it I could get some zoomed in views of the castle, but mostly of the sides that aren't medieval. Real pity there isn't more public access or some devoted viewing areas, but maybe the Guinness heirs value their privacy. It is, after all, their castle.

That grey one from before? First casting filled with bubbles. Second casting had a raised top face (sanding and polishing it smooth removed most of the 20 number). So that's a failure, but at least I have a mold and I can try again!
