I wish Kamala Harris would immediately announce her intention to run for president in 2028 and begin an intensive educationally oriented campaign - re-orienting the DNC to education and away from fundraising.

She could become a familiar face: go on all the podcasts, attend events, build a media presence, and become a constant commentator on what we are about to go through. By 2028 she would become widely known and more ready to win.

As for the U.S. Supreme Court, assuming the Democratic Party get their heads out of their dark recesses, they should have an opportunity in 2026 (or sooner, depending on special elections - because more Republican lawmakers seem to break the law than Democrat lawmakers) to slow down the process of appointing new judges.

And assuming there's a Presidential and Congressional election in 2028 (which for now is still a greater probability than not), then they can always take strong control of Congress and impeach the corrupt judges and give a Democratic President an opportunity to replace them.

Or just stack the court with new judges anyway and force the old ones to sit in the back.

That said, the Democrats have a lot of work ahead of them. I'm sure Whiney Boy Done Old Trump will give them a huge helping hand as he screws over the economy and our security with his insanely stupid policies and political appointments. But the Democrats will have to capitalize on any egregious screwups by the Trump administration - HIGHLIGHT THE HELL OUT OF THEM - and deliver some results in order to win the trust of whomever survives the Great Purge.

If you use computer generated software to create

AOC 2028. She is my dream candidate. Unfortunately, the only way we will have a chance to vote for her in 2028 is if we vote for a man who is unconscionably supportive of the obliteration of Gaza. Remember when you vote: even if Biden cut off aid for Israel and spoke out against them, the bombing wouldn't stop. It might arguably be worse. Remember also that: if Trump wins, there may never be another election.
