I saw this great video last week about the Logitech squeezebox system. You run Logitech media server (or its open-source descendant) that lets you stream your music to a hardware cube on the fly and control it with a neat remote/ipod hybrid.

Im no stranger to running obsolete hardware that still works (Pebble 4 Lyfe!) but I'm pretty locked into Jellyfin for media purposes. And I already have a lot of old mini pcs lying around.

Is there a raspberry pi or linux project that would act like a network music streaming endpoint that I could plug into my 1990s stereo system Aux port?
